4 Smart Features of the 2025 Nissan LEAF

The 2025 Nissan LEAF marks the latest incarnation of one of the longest-standing, perennially popular offerings in the battery-electric market. This latest LEAF model is efficient and versatile, showcasing the very best of Nissan’s innovative automotive engineering.

Energized Battery Options

The 2025 LEAF has two dynamic battery options on offer, each delivering exhilarating electric excellence. The base-tier LEAF S trim comes standard with a 40 kWh battery that delivers an impressive 147 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque through the vehicle’s front-wheel drive drivetrain. Opting for the LEAF SV PLUS trim sees you enjoy the driving experience offered by the available 60 kWh battery. This unlocks extra power, generating a spirited 214 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque, boosting the already peppy and responsive acceleration offered by the base configuration.

Plenty of Range

Both batteries deliver impressive range and efficiency, allowing you to tackle your daily commute or highway adventures confidently. The EPA estimates that the standard 40 kWh battery offers a driving range of 149 miles on a full charge, which translates to fuel economy ratings of 123 MPG-equivalent in the city, 99 MPGe on the highway, and 111 MPGe combined. The available 60 kWh battery offers an incredible maximum driving range of 212 miles. The EPA also estimates this configuration of the LEAF boasts fuel economy figures of 121 MPGe in the city, 98 MPGe on the highway, and 109 MPGe combined.

Safety Assured Thanks to Intelligent Driver Assistance Features

Innovative technology also powers a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance features. Nissan Safety Shield 360 provides six standard safety technologies to keep you and others secure on the road. Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection comes as standard. This clever system monitors your speed and distance from the car ahead, alerting you if you need to slow down and even automatically engaging the brakes if necessary to help avoid or mitigate a possible frontal collision.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 Features

Other Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety features include: Rear automatic braking, Lane departure warning, Rear cross traffic alert, Blind spot monitoring, High beam assist.

Connected Infotainment Technology

A NissanConnect 8-inch touchscreen display is the focal point of the cabin, providing access to the LEAF’s thoroughly modern infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration come as standard, allowing you to seamlessly connect your smartphone to access your favorite apps and music. The touchscreen interface is customizable, allowing you to arrange items exactly as you want them and set up shortcuts to meet your preferences, putting the LEAF’s infotainment offerings literally at your fingertips.
